Jompa Grocer
Located in Kota Tinggi, Jompa Grocer was created with the vision of reaching the pinnacle of upscale grocery shopping in Southern Malaysia. This is done by encouraging a healthy, well-rounded and quality lifestyle through fresh produce and unique imported goods that are otherwise hard to find in the small town of Kota Tinggi.
VOUCH ALLIANCE was engaged to provide a unique angle on marketing and branding for supermarkets, creating a look and business strategies that are trend-setting. We needed to establish Jompa Grocer as an immediate market leader among its surrounding competitors while building a large-enough member pool to create a responsive community.
To do so, we worked with Jompa from every step. From the origins of its name, to the interior design of the store, and last but not least, the Jompa Lagi membership program. We were close partners for the birth of Jompa Grocer! Our membership is the first-of-its-kind in Johor, providing monthly member deals to encourage repeat visits. In total, we generated 863 members in only 2 months and from this pool, we gained an additional revenue of over RM600,000.
We were able to strengthen the likelihood of our Jompa Lagi members making repeated use of their membership, while at the same time setting the foundation for the next stage of our program.
